Today’s Coloring Sheet: Dozers

The Photograph:

Each coloring sheet is created from a real photograph. This photograph was taken by an amazing photographer named Kari Greer. She is contracted by the federal land management agencies in the United States of America to document wildland fire incidents throughout the country.

What is going on in this photo?

Heavy equipment, such as bulldozers like the one in the coloring sheet, are used in all sorts of wildland fire management activities, from constructing fireline to helping with prescribed fire. Here are some videos of dozers on the fireline:
