We hope you enjoyed coloring your sheet. How does it compare to the photo above? Does the photo make you think differently about the picture? Did you use different colors? We can’t wait to see everyone’s finished coloring, so be sure to share below or on social media (with your parent’s permission, of course)!

Personal Protective Equipment

The firefighter in this coloring sheet is adjusting his hardhat, which is a piece of Personal Protective Equipment. Personal Protective Equipment is made up of equipment and garments that help minimize someone’s exposure to hazards that might cause injury. His hardhat protects his head from falling objects, like branches of trees.

Personal Protective Equipment can include hardhats or helmets, boots, gloves, eye protection like goggles, fire resistant pants and long-sleeved shirts, headlamps or torches, face shrouds, and more. Different countries and different types of firefighters use different Personal Protective Equipment. Share your coloring with us to let us know what kind of Personal Protective Equipment you spotted in the picture!
